Talgo's Total Logistic Care™,or TLC™,is a maintenance program which has resulted in the availability and reliability of the trains in excess of 99% over 6 years of operation in the United States. Talgo, Inc., in partnership with Amtrak®, is responsible for providing overall maintenance and for assuring, by contract, the highest fleet reliability, availability and comfort ratios in the industry. The results are outstanding. In over fifty (50) years of operating experience in Europe and in the United States, Talgo's Total Logistic Care™ has provided:

• up to 99% availability (i.e. at anytime, 99% of the actual fleet is available for revenue service).

• up to 99% reliability (i.e. at any time, 99% of actual services with Talgo equipment have not been cancelled or delayed for more than ten minutes due to technical failure).

• up to 99% complaint-free operations (i.e. up to 99% of services operated with Talgo equipment have not recorded passenger complaints due to a failure or malfunctioning of the equipment or of the comfort and entertaining amenities).

As a result of the application of Talgo's TLC™, rail operators obtain a greater value for their investment dollars because the necessary investment in spare rolling stock is kept to a minimum.
