Talgo offers a wide range of maintenance equipment. Initially, the company started developing Talgo maintenance equipment for its own use when applying Talgo's TLC™ service program. Following requests from several rail operators, Talgo maintenance equipment was also offered and sold to operators of all types of rail systems, including intercity rail, commuter rail, freight, metros and tramways. Talgo maintenance equipment has been used with great success all over the world since the early 90's in Japan, Switzerland, Portugal, and with other operators such as the German Railways, the Spanish National Railways, the Paris Metro, Trenes de Buenos Aires and the Madrid Metro. The unique advantage of the Talgo maintenance equipment is that it is the only one designed and produced by an actual user of the equipment. This allows to apply practical maintenance experience for continuous product improvement as well as research and development of new technical solutions.

Talgo's range of maintenance equipment includes underfloor wheel lathes, equipment for measuring the parameters of the wheels, detectors of wheel surface defects, dragging cars and others.
