POSITION: QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

 

- Develop quality documentation required for inspections and test and/ or requested by Headquarters, and keep updated the file and documentation.
- Perform inspections on receipt of materials from vendors such as at various stages of maintenance.
- Perform the calibration process for monitoring control equipment.
- Identify areas for improvement in both processes and in products.
- Quality control of the cleanliness of trains and facilities.
- Perform maneuvers, loading and unloading vehicles and major equipment.
- Check and verify the validity of the work.
- Collaborate with other areas of the workshop.

 

TRAINING REQUIRED: Second Degree Training and Intermediate Training Course. Master´s, Industrial Registry Office or similar, preferably specializing in mechanical engineering. (High School or GED (General Education Development)

 

TRAINING AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Interpretation of mechanical drawings, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic. Knowledge of ISO 9000. Knowledge of metrology and equipment management. Knowledge and use of equipment to perform NDT. Knowledge of equipment calibration processes. Knowledge of Office / SAP (Value) Spanish knowledge is a plus. Training in Occupational Health and Safety (value).

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience of at least 2-3 years as a quality control technician in an industrial environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the use of electronic devices. Able to work as a team. Capacity planning and organization. Ability to work under pressure. Good ability in problem-solving and decision making. Communication skills, listening and persuasion. Able to handle a stress environment.
