SUMMARY
Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within company by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Note: other duties may be assigned.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates and other containers.
• Issues and logs usage of calibrated test equipment.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Issues and maintains tool inventory.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items from several locations.
• Completes requisition forms to order supplies.
• Maintains inventory records.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or G.E.D.; 1 year warehouse experience, knowledge of Word, and basic math skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems like SAP, Maximo or similar for the Supply Chain Management
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Must be self-directed.
• Must have Forklift Certification
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
