401(k) Plan
Saving for the future becomes easy with automatic deductions to your capital accumulation
plan. Talgo matches 50% of your contributions up to 10% of your deferral. The plan
allows the employee to defer the maximum amount allowed by law.
Vesting schedule for company matching contributions is as follows:
After 1 year---------------25%
After 2 years--------------50%
After 3 years-------------100%
Short Term Disability / Long Term
Short Term Disability Plan
This short term disability plan provides financial protection for you by paying
a portion of your income while you are disabled. The amount you receive is based
on the amount you earned before your disability began. In some cases, you can receive
disability payments even if you work while you are disabled.
Long and Short Term Disability Insurance
Employees are automatically enrolled in the long and short term disability programs
along with the effective date of the group medical/dental insurance plans. The premiums
for this insurance are currently paid entirely by Talgo. Employees must be working
at least forty (40) hours per week to be eligible for the long and short term disability
programs.
Life Insurance
Life Insurance provides that extra added assurance that there will be money to take
care of your loved ones. Regular full time employees are currently covered by Group
Life Insurance at no cost to the employee. Policy amount is (1) times annual salary
up to a maximum of $100,000.
